Updated Guide to Wearing of Face Coverings – Corp Offices

It is hard to believe that nearly two years ago we were first introduced to COVID-19. In response, we implemented and maintained numerous health measures to keep our workplace and employees safe. We thank you all for your support and commitment to this goal.

The COVID-19 pandemic is not over. However, given the local decrease in positivity and transmission metrics and the CDC’s classification of COVID-19 Community Levels in our location as Medium, effective March 1st, 2022, the Dale Protocol Level in response to COVID-19 is shifting to Level 0 – Normal Office Conditions. On that date, the wearing of face coverings at the Dale corporate offices will be optional regardless of vaccination status.

To be clear, we are not advising or instructing employees not to wear face coverings. It is your decision, which should be made carefully and thoughtfully based on an evaluation of personal risks and risk tolerances. Employees who decide to continue wearing a face covering will be supported, and that decision must be respected without confrontation, judgment, or criticism. Additionally, an employee’s request to others to wear a face covering in their presence shall be respected. Social distancing and increased ventilation, where possible, is recommended to continue.

Dale employees remain encouraged to receive and stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. All Dale employees must continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 (sore throat, respiratory illness, fever, etc.) and are instructed to stay home if sick.

Dale protocols remain subject to any more stringent requirements of Project Owners, General Contractors, Construction Managers, other clients, and/or any applicable laws or regulations which shall continue to take precedence at all jobsites and other locations. In any circumstance where projects or applicable laws or regulations require the continued wearing of face coverings and/or have up to date vaccination, those requirements will govern and control eligibility for employment.

Again, this may not yet be the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. If conditions should later warrant it, we may elect to reinstate face covering requirements. We will continue to carefully monitor local conditions and guidance to see what, if any, of our policies and protocols should be changed.
